Belém Tower


Belém Tower ( Torre de Belém in Portuguese) is a fortified tower located in Belém, Lisbon. This tower was built in the early 16th century and is a prominent example of the portuguese manueline style. It is an UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the significant role it played in the Portuguese maritime discoveries of the era of the age of discoveries.

Jeronimos Monastery


The Jeronimos Monastery is located in Belem, Lisbon, Portugal. This magnificent monastery is on of the most prominent monuments in Lisbon and is certainly one of the most sucessfull achievements of the Manueline style. In 1983, it was classified by Unesco with Belem Tower, as a world heritage site. Is one of the 7 magnificient Portugal monuments.
